Connect Claude
to Didactic.

Connect Claude once, then run Socratic tutoring sessions that adapt to your child and track real progress.

How this works

Claude is the tutor your child talks to. You ask Claude to run sessions, and it teaches, asks questions, and records progress in Didactic. Open the Didactic app on your phone any time to review sessions, mastery, and reports.

Before you start

You add the connector in Claude Desktop or claude.ai (a browser) — not the Claude mobile app. The free Claude plan works — you just need a Didactic account (the same email you use to manage your students).

Connect in 5 steps

  1. Open Claude on desktop or web

Custom connectors can’t be added from the Claude mobile app. Use Claude Desktop (Mac or Windows) or claude.ai in a browser to set this up.

  2. Go to Settings → Connectors

Open Claude’s Settings, then the Connectors tab.

  3. Add a custom connector

Click Add custom connector. The only field that matters is the server URL — paste Didactic’s address below.

    https://didactic.kecker.co/mcp
  4. Sign in to Didactic

A Didactic window opens. Sign in with your email and approve access. You only do this once. No token or header to paste — sign-in handles it.

  5. You’re connected

Claude can now run tutoring sessions and track progress. Try one of the prompts below.

These steps show Claude — the most common setup. Didactic is a standard MCP server, so it also works with ChatGPT and other MCP-compatible assistants: add the same URL as a connector there.

Try saying

If something’s not working

Claude says it can’t find my students
Open Claude → Settings → Connectors → Didactic and confirm it shows your email (signed in). If not, click it and sign in again.
I don’t see “Add custom connector”
You’re likely in the Claude mobile app — connectors can only be added in Claude Desktop or claude.ai (a browser). Open Claude there, then Settings → Connectors.
It’s asking me for a token or an authorization header
You don’t need one. Use only the URL above — signing in to Didactic grants access automatically.
